Ana was just what this beginner needed from a teacher. I’d learned some basics in classes in the UK but hadn’t had enough opportunities to practise speaking. Ana took what I’d done as a starting point and encouraged me to use it to construct sentences in a way that showed me more clearly how Spanish is put together. She is the most encouraging of teachers, very good company, and our conversations flowed naturally and (mostly) in Spanish too, which felt like a real achievement for someone lacking confidence. I thoroughly recommend her. I’ll certainly be contacting her for more lessons next time I’m in Lanzarote. I may even get to the past tense!
